ABOUT ART CAMP AT MARYVILLE COLLEGE
Exceptional Artist is excited to collaborate with Maryville College and Clayton Center for the Arts to offer an additional fantastic week of art camp. Students will create art in the Fine Arts classrooms and end the week with an art show at the Clayton Center for the Arts. Exceptional Artist Summer Camp is a day camp that provides a positive community for young artists to create and explore. During this exciting themed week, students will increase their art knowledge and develop skills in multiple art mediums. Students will be surrounded by art, with peers who love art and certified teachers who love to teach art. Through self-expression, critical thinking skills, and perseverance, students will end the week with a portfolio of work they are eager to share.
COST
The camp costs $225 per student before April 1st, then $250 for late registration. Tuition includes art instruction Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM and Friday from 8:30–11:30 AM, all art materials, and a camp shirt! Each additional child (sibling) registered is $175; this option is available at check out. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due by May 17 to reserve your spot. The tuition of $225 includes the $50 deposit. The remaining balance is due Monday at student check-in.
EARLY CARE
To assist working parents, we offer early care beginning at 7:30 AM. The cost is $10 per family per day or $30 per week. Doors will remain closed until 8:25 AM; this allows teachers to set up daily projects. It is imperative to sign up for early care during registration or contact us so those students can get into the building.
LUNCH AND SNACK
Students must bring lunch on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On Wednesday, we will have "Eat like a College Student," campers will walk to Pearsons Hall to enjoy their choice of pizza, burgers, sandwiches, desserts, etc. Tuition includes Wednesday's lunch. Pearsons will have allergy-friendly options.
Snack time will be around 1:30 PM. Students will need to bring a snack or money for the Snack Station.
A Snack Station will be available with items for purchase (water, Gatorade, crackers, popcorn, fruit roll-ups, etc.) Snacks will cost between $.75 and $1.50. If you choose to send money, please only send a small amount, no more than $5, and label the money in a ziplock bag or envelope. Again, your child can bring a snack, and you do not have to purchase anything.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle.
Please label everything with the child's full name.
All campers will receive a celebration treat on Thursday afternoon to celebrate their hard work throughout the week.
No lunch on Friday. We will have a morning snack time. Please pack a snack or send money.
